After the procedure, we recommend taking time to rest. The scabs that form in the recipient area heal within 10 to 15 days. If possible, we advise staying at home during this period. The first two weeks are crucial for the grafts to take root after the procedure. After that, your appearance will gradually begin to return to normal. The common belief that hair follicles retain their original properties after transplantation (meaning that transplanted hairs never fall out) is not always accurate. You should plan to stay in Istanbul for at least 3 nights and 4 days. The treatment plan (consultation) is scheduled with the doctor on the second day after your arrival, and the procedure usually takes place the day after the consultation. The stay typically includes 3 nights, giving you the opportunity to relax in a traditional Turkish bath or explore Istanbul — which we highly recommend.

A hair transplant does not cure the underlying cause of androgenetic alopecia. The procedure neither changes your genes nor affects your hormonal balance.
